PLGA Teams

The Pediatric Low Grade Astrocytoma (PLGA) Foundation is committed to the families of children suffering from PLGA brain tumors. We are a resource for families to connect with each other and share experiences, information and other helpful resources.

We are also committed to finding kinder, gentler treatments and a cure for childhood brain tumors. We are proud to present the PLGA Teams that are committed to the same!

Our PLGA Team Network welcomes its newest members:

Parent Support Network

The PLGA Foundation's mission of uniting the PLGA community through shared experiences, information, ideas and resources could not be possible without the support of people and families like yours. We are so grateful for your participation in our community.

Stories of Inspiration - Facing a Brain Tumor

There is no way to fully understand the anguish a pediatric low-grade Astrocytoma (PLGA), Juvenile Pilocytic Astrocytoma (JPA), Fibrillary Astrocytoma, or one of the other kinds of childhood brain tumors has on the thousands of patients and families affected by them.

Families report feelings of isolation, loneliness and desperation when navigating the choppy waters associated with the brain tumor diagnoses, treatments and complications.

We welcome YOUR personal stories and experiences. Through our collective sharing we will find strength and comfort. Submit your story.
